Thank you for exploring my art! I've always been an artist, spending the past 17 years as a full-time photojournalist at The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, focusing on photography. In the spring of 2023, I rediscovered painting due to my daughters' encouragement and a blank basement wall needing art. They urged, "Why not paint something?" I'm grateful I did.
Painting is my escape from daily deadlines and interruptions. Unlike tech, canvases never crash, and palette knives need no updates. I enjoy abstract acrylic painting, feeling that the paint guides me. This partnership leads to amazing art that's a joy to create.
