“Mamaw” is inspired by memories of my grandmother and visits to her home in southern Indiana, where I’d watch her churn out quilt after quilt with ease. It reminds me of her and the quilts she made.
It’s an original 48” x 60” x 1.5” (4 ft. x 5 ft.) acrylic painting on canvas, completed on April 22, 2026. It’s signed and ready to hang, with clean, gallery-wrapped edges. It’s currently on display in downtown Milwaukee at the Journeyman Hotel (310 E. Chicago St.) through May 2026—feel free to stop by and see it in person.
